Welcome

The Anvil Trust manages three of Hampshire's finest arts and entertainment venues, and is renowned for its wide-ranging programme.

The drama programme at The Haymarket continues strongly with Laurel and Hardy, two shows from Basingstoke's own Proteus Theatre Company, Michael Frayn's Spies, and the musical romp Dick Barton – Special Agent among others. The seventies classic Abigail’s Party and Jacqueline Wilson's Secrets also make their appearance, while the incredible Elephant, suitable for all the family, will be a production to remember for a lifetime, and a massive coup for Basingstoke.

The Anvil programme ranges even more widely, from the Philharmonia Orchestra to the Lady Boys of Bangkok, and Nicky Slater's Ice Times to Thriller Live. Comedy from Jenny Eclair, and Tim Vine, a celebration of the banjo, jazz, folk, world music and comedy in The Forge, and great performers from Mavis Staples to Hal Ketchum – you're spoilt for choice!
